1. BAD BACK

Set electric blanket on a timer and lie on it before you fal asleep. It did wonders for myself and several of my friends.

2. CUT YOUR PHONE BILL

Set your clock timer to 5 minutes and limit yourself to that when phoning friends. Alternatively get someone to ring the doorbell when time is up.

3. PAINT BRUSH

A childs paint brush is ideal for applying blusher and much cheaper.

4. LOOK SLIMMER

Buy your clothes a size larger then cut out the label, people will then believe you have lost weight if your clothes look loose.

5. DINNER OUTFIT

Why not borrow / lend dinner dresses with your best friend, assuming you are a similar size, that way you will be sure no-one will have seen you in that dress before.

6. PREGNANCY SICKNESS

There are many remedies but have you tried Chinese curry as this contains ginger and you may well find it works (it really did for me)

7. LONGER LIFE SLIPPERS

Stick hard wearing soles on your new slippers to give them a longer life, this is very useful particularly if you tend to pop outside in them. You can use the soles of old shoes such as flip flops and it wont cost you a penny.

8. DEEP CONDITIONING

After applying conditioner wrap some cling film round hair and then put on a woolly hat to retain heat, which wont fall off like a towel. Rinse when time is up.

9. MAKE UP STORAGE

Take an empty jar of douwe egberts coffe and remove all stickers, this will serve great for keeping cotton bud sticks and cotton wool balls or pads.

10. EXFOLIATION

Use new bathroom sponges with a dab of moisturisers for exfoliating skin and boosting circulation. Cut to size required and use this technique about once a month approximately.

11. MAKE UP WIPES

Save money and buy a pack of baby wipes which will be gentle on your skin and remove most types of make-up.

12. OLD DRIED UP WIPESS

Don't throw away! Moisten with a little water and they will be ready to use again!

13. SMELL LOVELY

If you don't have any perfume try rubbing scented talcum powder lights on your arms to give a daring suttle scent.

14. CUTLURY TRAY

This is useful in a bedroom drawer or even a shed to store small mescellanious items.

15. HONEY & LEMON

When children are not well and refuse honey and lemon, try hot squash and add lemon or lime juice for vitamin C.

16. WINTER SKIRTS

If you find tight too cold why not wear two pairs which will also show ladders less.

17. PAINFUL TEETH

Sometimes chewing gum can ease the pain of disloged food in the mouth.

18. NO BLUSHER

Often lipstick works as well.

19. BATH MOISTURISER

Instead of using expensive aromatherapy oils in the bath try using Almond oil which is available from most large chemists. This costs a lot less and is available in larger sizes.

20. DON'T HAVE A SUMMER DUVET

Simply use a duvet cover without the duvet inside, this will keep you cool and give you some cover.

21. PUFFY EYES

Use a sensitive baby wipe in the mornings around eyes to reduce puffiness. Lightly dab and you will feel better and also see an improvement within seconds.

22. CORN ON FOOT

If you don't have a foot file try using an emergy board gently to rub away hard skin and give relief.

23. UNRULY EYEBROWS

Use hairspray to keep unrully eyebrows in place.

24. LASTING NAILS

When using nail wraps or stickers, apply a coat of clear varnish on top to make them last even longer.

25. CONDITIONING TIME SAVER

After washing hair apply conditioner + then pop on a shower cap whilst you proceed with the rest of your beauty tasks such as exfoliating, shaving, washing ect. The heat from the shower will help penetrate the conditioner. Finally rinse off after finishing your beauty routine.
